Kawasaki Motors has inaugurated a new plant in Salinas Victoria, creating approximately 1,500 jobs by 2026. The event highlights the economic boom in Nuevo León and significant investments in the region.

Samuel García, Governor of Nuevo León, inaugurated the new Kawasaki Motors plant in Salinas Victoria, representing an investment of 200 million dollars. During the ceremony, he highlighted the economic growth that the state is experiencing and mentioned that the arrival of the Japanese company coincides with a favorable time for Nuevo León.

The governor expressed his optimism regarding the future of Kawasaki Motors Mexico and assured that the best is yet to come for the company in the region. He also emphasized the achievements made during his administration, highlighting the creation of 220,000 new jobs and the arrival of 287 investment projects, which have positioned Nuevo León as a leader in job generation and new businesses.

As part of the inauguration, a ceremony was held for planting native trees, and a tour was conducted through the production lines of all-terrain vehicles and jet skis. Among the attendees were notable representatives from Kawasaki, such as Yasuhiko Hasimoto, president of Kawasaki Heavy Industries LTD, Ito Hiroshi, president of Kawasaki Motors Corporation, and Nashi Kato, president of Kawasaki Motors Mexico.

García emphasized that the arrival of Kawasaki Motors in Salinas Victoria comes at a key moment for the municipality and underscored the importance of this investment for the economic development of the region, projecting the creation of approximately 1500 jobs by the year 2026. In this regard, the Governor expressed his confidence that the alliance between Kawasaki and Nuevo León will mark the beginning of a new stage of growth and prosperity for both parties.
